Most of you are aware of the crash that Kyle and Amanda Franklin had a few months ago. Amanda was burned severly and has been fighting for her life ever since. I have been reading a blog that has given a day by day up-date of her condition and the up and downs they have both endured. Today was a very hard post to read http://www.iwritemyworld.com/
but I believe those of you who believe in prayer might want to know of a brother and sister who could use all the prayers you can spare right now.
God be with them at this dificult time.

Dan,
I'm praying along with you and others for strength and unity for the family, skill for the hospital staff and comfort for Amanda.

Thanks Dan for the update. Sad to read and hard to comprehend the pain Amanda's gone through in her courageous fight for life. Prayers sent for a positive outcome and strength for her family members.

I too have been following this stuggle daily from the beginning. Knowing the odds were not good with the percent of burns recieved, you still hoped and prayed for a positive outcome. Unfortunately it did not happen. Amanda passed last night at 10:10 central time. No more pain for her. I can only imagine the emotional turmoil of the ups and downs of this struggle that Kyle and the rest of the family have, and are enduring still. My prayers are for the Franklin and Younkin family.

Sad news to wake up to. Peace for eternity for Amanda. A new body with no pain is hers. Healing now for her family. Nice tribute with wise words at the end.

Fly safe everyone.

For those who would like to help.

The above link will take you to the ICAS web page where you can buy a chance to win a pedal plane of Kyle and Amanda's Waco Mystery Ship. Great for the Grand kids.

The proceeds will go to covering some of Amanda's medical bills.

My father Les Koberg and some wonderful volunteers helped build the plane!
