Super Sport Door Latch Pics??

I've got a Super Sport kit and can't find anything in the manual about the door latch except that it attaches to the door frame slightly ahead of the seat. There is one drawing that appears partially done and no other description. I have a bag labeled "door handle kit" with parts that could probably go together but I feel like I'm missing something. Any pics or other help would be great.

Look in the parts catalog on page 52 for a picture of the door latch.

There should have been some instructions in the bag of parts for the latch. The instructions are not in the manual.

The hex wrench that comes in the kit is your "key". A hole in the door lines up with the socket head cap screw pivot so you can insert the hex wrench and open the latch from the outside.

Not exactly high security.

You might add some hard plastic laminate where the latch rubs the frame to prevent the paint from chipping.

Call Kitfox and maybe they can fax you the assembly sheet.

One thing not in the instructions is just exactly where to place the latch along the frame bottom.

Sit in the aircraft and see where your knee and thigh are in relation to the frame. I located my latch so it wouldn't poke me in the leg.
