Gross weight question according to SN

Another question about the Kitfox I am looking at. The gross weight on the data tag is 1200 and states Classic, but after reading lots of posts I noticed that there was a previous gross on the Model IV's of 1050. This particular kit is SN95050XXX and am wondering if there is any difference in the kits.

There is a mod to lift strut brackets that ups mod 1 gross to 950
