The Blue Fairy (of Pinocchio fame) stopped by my hangar this morning and with a touch of her wand turned my plane into a real little plane, free to fly wherever we want.

Watch out for the leftover fairy dust. It'll transport you to wherever you wish to go. Congrats on the flyoff and enjoy the freedom you have earned.

Dorsal, Congratulations on the end of phase 1.
Keep close vigil on all the systems and make sure they work and play well with each other. Take the cowlings off every 10 hours and go over your FWF carefully. Have others look for things you may miss while the cowlings are off.
Have fun and stay safe. We'll be looking forward to the trip reports soon.

DF4, thanks for the sound advise, I have already arranged for a Rotax certified shop to do a "100 hour" inspection on the engine with me in the next few weeks. They are a flight school and repair shop so they are happy to teach me the ins and outs of my engine while doing the inspection. For those in the North East the school is AlphaOne in Plymouth.

Well... that's MY Kitfox of the Month...

My Mother In Law said to say thank you... but the stick kept hitting her every time you flared...

Dorsal,

Your plane looks very nice from the air shot. Congrats on the build.

Ya, it easy to get caught smiling when you're flying one of these.
