I can't find anything on the Kitfox website about in-flight trim adjustment (at least pitch/elevator). Does the Kitfox Series 7 have standard in-flight pitch trim?

Have any of you installed an autopilot (preferably two-axis) on your Kitfox?

Thanks, Jim

The series 7 has an electric in flight pitch trim system.

I don't have auto pilot but several have been installed on Kitfox's. Someone with auto pilot installed will most likely respond and discuss how it installs and how they like it.

I just ordered a Dynon D-10A display with autopilot outputs along with the servos for GPS steering and altitude hold. Even my Skyhawk doesn't have an autopilot, this should be fun. I will also have electric pitch trim and still thinking about rudder trim. I was thinking of using the RAC pitch trim servo coupled to a model airplane rate gyro for heading hold on the rudder and another for pitch trim with a pressure transducer for altitude hold. In the end, my more conservative side prevailed. I still think it would have worked and would have been alot less expensive.

What model fox and which servos did you order? I found the 32s where not quite up to the task if it got bumpy so I have the 42s in now.

Not to add more confusion but how comparable are the stick forces in a 4 vs a 7?

I have no idea, I am still building.
