I am running aluminum lines from the wing tanks to the header tank.
I see that others have mentioned doing this. Any tips? Thanks Jim

Jim, I considered it when I built my model 4. Finally decided that it was too much effort and flexible fuel line was simpler. Also I could see the fuel flowing from the wing tanks to the header tank. Not a big deal but just a little more piece of mind. Less chance of abrasion from vibrations and easy to change every couple of years. Also more direct route to the header tank with less connection points to fail (leak) inside the cockpit. The less connections inside the cockpit the better.

On a side note. If you want to see the results of a fuel leak inside the cockpit, spend a little time on Van's Airforce website. I'll start a new thread so this one doesn't get highjacked for Jim.

I ran 3/8" aluminum lines, except where things flex, and used Aeroquip
in those places. Never had any problems.
