With the Kitfox in an "up" status, I have been venturing out again and gaining confidence every hour. What a joy to fly!

Saturday (8/17), I met up with friend of mine down at MO32 Table Rock, right on Table Rock Lake on the border of Arkansas. It's about 1.1 hours to the southwest of Bolivar (M17). The Depot Diner is 200ft off the runway and is a remodeled railroad car with a nice screened in patio for al fresco dinning!
Food was great, and our waitress was really nice. It was a beautiful day and it was a great place to fly into!

Garmin Pilot and Foreflight both have it as private. It is open to the public. Garmin Pilot and Foreflight also have is as 27/09 but it's actually 29/11. Also not listed is field frequency which is 122.9. The runway drops off quite a bit on the west end. I recommend a quick fly by to get a visual because landing on 29 is your only way in and you see less than half of the runway because it runs uphill. Recommend you carry some energy to flare up the slope. I had a tailwind and a bit of a crosswind, but the Kitfox handled it nicely.

Brett,

Really nice way to get back in the saddle!

I think there is wisdom in your comments about the site being a private airport. I have found that may fields listed as private actually either allow public use or a person's use with a short phone call notification.

Yup - keep on flying!
