Cracked Header Pipe No.4 Cylinder 912ULS

Hi all,

my header pipe on No.4 Cylinder cracked.

Question:

Are the header pipes of a model 4 & 5 identical, i.e. can I use it.

Are they sold separately ( does anyone have one by chance).

If the Kitfox 5 uses the rotax ring mount, the muffler and pipes are different from the Kitfox 4 mount that has the 4 arms attaching to the engine. Personally, if it was me, I would cut the socket end off at the weld and weld on a new socket end. Rotax sells that part for $37. JImChuk

I guess thats what I‘m going to do.

I took one of my model 5 and installed it to the model 5, it fits ok, not like a glove but ok.
