Am wondering if anyone has mounted a 12v USB charger port in their panel and what charger port you used. I would like a dual port, one with a standard usb and one that is usb-c. I plan on running 2 iPad mini 6 units to display the iLevel bom efis system we have. I do not want to pay the price for the Garmin or Stratus units, they cost $350 to $500 each. I want 3 units in my Kitfox, 2 in the panel and 1 behind the seats. I want the type that is wired direct, not one that plugs into a cigarette lighter socket.

Thanks for the reply Patrick but I’m hoping to find units for experimental. I don’t want to pay the price for certified.

Thanks for the link, very good info. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but I searched for usb, USB multiple different ways in the search and advanced search fields and came up with no matches.

This is what I ordered and put into my new Kitfox 4 build. Hope they don't cause interference. I used a single one like this on my other Kitfox 4 and it works fine. JImChuk
