Floorboard Installation Screws

I seem to remember some concern in utilizing the kit supplied truss-head screws in installing the wood floorboards in the Super Sport. What I vaguely recall is that the screws easily loosen and back out. Is that a concern? If so, would some other fastener, such a Rivnuts, be advised. Thank you in advance!

I have had no problems with it, flying for a year now and 112 hours.

After several condition inspections you will find that truss head screws will start to lose their grab (or at least mine did) so I drilled out the holes to accept threaded nutserts and AN 526 screws with good results. If I was building new, I would go right to the nutserts to save doing it twice. Bruce Lina N199CL
