Meet the MicroKit MGL EFIS WiFi Gateway

We're excited to announce our partnership with MicroKit, manufacturer of in-cockpit safety products like the Landing Height Controller, to provide our customers a long-awaited solution to MGL EFIS device connectivity from pilots' personal electronic devices.
The new EFIS WiFi Gateway for MGL Avionics EFIS products allows MGL pilots to connect their personal electronic devices for flight plan and file transfer back and forth to the EFIS. The Gateway will soon in the future also allow database updates, software updates and more - all wirelessly! The Gateway also interfaces with GDL 90 ADS-B Receivers like the uAvionix echoUAT and forwards ADS-B In data on its WiFi network to your compatible EFB app.
The Gateway is priced at $285 and is in stock today. The unit can be retrofit to any iEFIS Generation 3 product running version 1.1.2.0 and any iEFIS MX1 Running Version 13.
The Gateway is also field-upgradeable so future feature enhancements can be installed quickly and with minimal downtime.

MGL Avionics Price Increases Starting Sept. 1
MGL Avionics has long been firm on offering avionics solutions for homebuilders that balance affordability, customizability and functionality. Our stance has allowed us to provide some of the most versatile and feature rich products on the market, and keep our pricing constant for over a decade. With that said, like every company in every market the last year has seen heavy increases in the cost of our products and our cost of doing business, which means that we unfortunately must raise our pricing, too. Effective September 1st, 2022, MGL Avionics pricing is going to see an approximate 8% increase. All current orders up to and including August 31st, 2022 will be honored at current pricing. If an order placed during this timeframe is ready for shipment but is delayed or cancelled by the customer, then the current pricing will no longer be honored.
