Buyers guide to a MK 1

Hi, Im in the early stages of investigating if a Kit fox is right for me. Im looking at the older models since they fit in my budget and Im wondering what i should be looking out for when looking at the likes of a MK 1 ? Any buyers hint's tips and links would be very much appreciated.

The Kitfox 1 is only 36" wide. Models 2,3 and 4 are 39 1/2". Also, the gross weight on the earlier Kitfox 1 is 850 lbs. Near the time when they started making the Kitfox 2 they acquired some spar material with a center web. Some Kitfox 1s have that and then they are 950 gross weight, just like the Kitfox 2. They really do perform with a 582 if kept light. I had one a few years ago. JImChuk
