Rebuilding a Model 3 with the round cowl that ties into a top and bottom cowl section behind it. Bottom section has a cut out for each radiator hose and the exhaust pipe. . . but how does the compartment exhaust waste heat from the muffler? What has been your experience and do I need to consider cutting a 2 inch-ish slot across the bottom to allow heat and airflow. Or am I just way over-thinking this? Thanks.
