Info needed for Kitfox IV - 1200, hasn't ran for over 20 years

Hello! There is a Kitfox model IV - 1200 that was built in 1998 and flew for a little over 300 hours, but has been hangered the last 20 years. I am looking to start flying it, hopefully pretty soon. I am looking for as much information as I can get about it. I know this is a lot of information and I am brand new into Kitfox so anything helps.

Service/Maintenance Help

It has a Rotax 912 UL 80 HP engine.
It has the standard bungee gear. (Replace bungees?)
What are things that should be looked into/thought about before getting it airworthy again? (I know everything, but anything Kitfox specific? Checklists?)
How do you find any service bulletins for it?
Anything else to know about getting a kitfox airworthy that has sat for so long?

I got all my training and PPL in a Cessna 140, my Kitfox Series 5 is much more sensitive to ground handling in every aspect.

Info for your engine is available at the Rotax Owner (https://www.rotax-owner.com/en/) website. Look for Service Bulletins and Engine Manuals under the Support/Bulletins tab at the top-center of the page.

If it has been sitting that long, even in a hangar, I would be sure to do replacement of ALL rubber components on the airplane to include fuel hoses, carb boots, coolant hoses, even tires or anything else rubber.

Respectfully, I’d disagree with that. If it’s been hangared, the fabric won’t have deteriorated any faster than a Kitfox that’s been flown and maintained on an ongoing basis; and I don’t know of any of the 1990’s fleet that have had to be recovered (due to fabric issues) since the first covering (except for accident damage, being left outside, or owners just wanting to do a full rebuild).

Yes, it’ll need a good inspection, but I see no reason why it would be of concern.
