I’m might need to go off the grid for a while, seeing how I missed that cotter key!!
Darrell, being the guy he is, built a beautiful flying machine using his ingenuity through out the build to over come some obstacles that are not referenced in the manual. I believe he might have the only SS7 with a round cowl.

I'll verify this, I saw Darrell's workmanship when I was at The Sentimental Journey fly in at lock Haven last year. Great looking airplane, only problem was I didn't get to meet Darrell, Bruce N199CL
