KF3 13 gal fuel tank into a KF IV?

G’day!
Has anyone ever tried installing a KF3 fuel tank on a Classic IV? I don’t have the KF3 tank to compare to the dimensions & shape of the one I need to replace on my KF IV, but I am wondering if any of you have done this before? I’ll probably have to corrode-proof it before installing it, but I’d like to know if it will fit before I order it.

What happened to the one you need to replace ? I have two KF1 wing tanks if anyone needs them. Dave in Ottawa

I sealed it w/ car gas tank sealant. Long process but effective for a small leak.
