Hello,
New here, and wondering if anyone can post a close-up picture of one of the forward wing strut brackets on a Series 5-7, after fabric is on. My dad and I bought a kit secondhand, and the wings were just about complete. The kit was ordered with the quick build and pre-rig option, so I'm pretty sure the wing strut bracket would have been positioned at the factory? It just seems like with the way it's positioned the attachment hardware will be pressing into the fabric once covered (the hardware in the pic is just a placeholder).

I've attached a pic to try and show what I'm talking about. The red line was drawn in to approximate where the fabric would intersect the bracket.

Completely new to all of this so thanks for any suggestions!

Yours looks right. The bolt comes out right in line with the fabric. There is youtube builder that just did a video on it. 7Kilo something. I think he ended up cutting some of the reinforcement plate and fabric to get clearance. I remember someone posting a pic on adding a recess to the fabric reinforcement plate to give a pocket for the bolt which looked nice. I pushed the fabric up, put the nut on then pulled the fabric over it before tightening.

If the kit came with quick build wings and factory pre-rig you're in good shape. I believe they only drill 2 of the many holes but that is enough to precisely locate those lift strut attach fittings.

yep, my STi is like that as well. just have to feed the bolt through into the nut as you tighten. if you stick the whole bolt in you cant get the nut on there. Tape under there so as you tighten you dont scratch your fancy new paint.

Sounds good, thanks. I'm enjoying following your build on YouTube and Instagram. I just started the @firefox_project account so thanks for the follow.
