If you've attended one of these you know the drill. If not look over the information and plan to attend. Lots of fun, flying and food.
RSVP's requested for planning purposes. Don't want to run out of food.

Hi Steve
Wow that would be a long way to go. Would be a great trip a mere 1125 miles. Have to add that to my Bucket list. My wife has always wanted to see the Grand Canyon and this would be on the way. maaybe want to met the famous Kitfox Squadron.....

Mic, a one day trip if you start really early. We are planning on keeping the Grand Canyon for at least one more year so if you can't make it this March you should be OK for 2011. Come to think of it Arizona did spend more money than it took in last year so that Grand Canyon thing,... I can't guarantee it. The Desert Fox Squadron will be here next year though.

Weather is usually very nice in March. Take a look at those "average" temps. Folks from cooler climates might bring a pair of shorts along for daytime comfort. Also a light jacket may be needed for those spectacular evenings spent telling airplane "stories" on the deck of the "control tower" watching the Desert Sun set over the Saguaro cactus. Then wait and watch as the sky fills with stars.

Be nice if I could just tow it behind. I have only so much time and the wife would be coming along. Flying at 170kts sounds so much better than 103kts. Not only that, it will be Cooold starting out. The RV is much warmer. Got to think of the wife now. I can slow the rv down to 100kts. I fly low and slow with er also. I just finished a flight today that went threw a river run about 20 off, real cool flight. I know, I know much better with the fox. I'll be going to the kitfox flyin with the kitfox, that will have to do.

If I do make it, weather depending. I'll take you up on the kitfox for sure. Seems I have to go up in the kitfox for the next flight after the RV to get the jitters out if you know what I mean. But, the RV will do a pretty good job also, don't rule that one out. I can do some amazing things with that airplane as well. I will have to take you on a canyon run with the RV
