For those still wondering, it’s officially ON!

Airventure 2021 is a go from July 26th through August 1st.

Therefore, the Kitfox Family picnic is also a go! We will again tentatively set for Thursday July 29th at our campsite across from the ultralight barn.

More announcements will follow as needed. As we get closer I’ll use this stuck post to ask for headcount to help in planning for the event.

If you’re flying in I highly recommend getting a paper copy of the NOTAM.

BTW - I was wondering why I have yet to receive the EAA generated copy of the NOTAM (requested via the EAA website) and called them yesterday. Apparently there was a glitch somewhere and I wasn't listed in the recipient data base. I did find out that they ship them as soon as received from the printer and the job is not yet complete. I'd say call them if yours hasn't arrived and verify that you are listed as a planned recipient.

The Annual Kitfox party will be on, in the usual spot. Thursday, 7-29, 5 pm. After, we’ll all slide on over for the Twilight show at the UL Field.

First post mentioned a head count. First Timer. Will you be asking for one? Me and wife planning for now to be there, not flying in. How many usually attend?
Where do they park the Foxes?

Depending on your skills, the UL field is fun to fly into. It’s short with blind approaches, so take care. Otherwise you can fly into the main field and tram down to the UL field for the party.

I will start another thread soon with a head count option.

Made it through the storm, none the worse for wear down at the ultralight area.

Thank you, Harlan and Susan.

And thank you to everyone that came down for the picnic. We enjoy doing it and seeing everyone each year.

We’re already gearing up for next year!
