Map or List of Owners/Builders?

Good morning,

I'm thinking of doing a Kitfox build but I was looking to try to find some builders in my area to hopefully connect with. I see there is a forum that has a post from 2009 with few links that no longer work, and the control panel says I'm not allowed to post in that specific category. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I live in central Illinois just south of Peoria.

I am in the same situation. I was hoping to find someone close to me who would be willing to show off their flying toy. It would save me a VERY long road trip to visit the factory. That dead link you clicked on might as well be deleted since it's not doing anybody any good.

Todd you are in luck... You have two Active Builders that I am aware of relatively close by. I live in Saint Joseph MI which is only about 3.5 hours away. I am building a Kitfox STI and while I received my Kit in July of 20 I am still working on the Fuse. You also have Harlan Payne (Farm Fox) located in Spring Garden IL. He is a little closer (3 Hours) and a lot farther along. Don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to come and visit.

I'm in Morris, IL. Right on I-80 about 20 miles west of Joliet. However I am not building a new Kitfox but rather rebuilding a model 4.

I am also looking for Kitfox owners/builders... but in the San Diego area. If anyone knows of someone around her, please do let me know. Thanks! (I tried to search the forum but didn't come up with anything; advice on effective forum searching likewise appreciated)
