Sorry for the dumb question, going to pick up a kitfox 3
very soon and I have to make a set of those wing supports
before I leave home.

From the photos, I'm afraid the AN bolts that drop down
through the leading edge that holds the wing in the
forward position isn't long enough to INCLUDE a
tubing support and then a nut/pin. Do you guys have seperate
bolts for transporting? If so what is the exact dimensions of
that bolt?

Thanks, hope my question makes sense...

Make your support so it goes inside of the wing spar tube ..it will be just under 2.375" then your provided wing bolts will fit,..I'm thinking the diameter is 5/16" on the spar bolt or AN-5 3" long

The support tubes themselves can be made easily from 1/2" wiring conduit.

WildIrish, the smooth shank length of the spar bolt is 2.5 inches. If you use bolts get some with a 3 inch smooth shank length and some extra washers.

I made pins out of soft bolts. The spar pins are 5/16 bolts with a 3.5 inch smooth shank and the threads cut off. The bottom pins are 1/4 inch bolts with a 4 inch smooth shank and the threads cut off.

the tubes are 3/4 rigid conduit 49.5 inches long. With a hammer, cordless drill, and a hack saw you can make them on site. Note the slight bend where the bottom of the tube attaches to the strut fitting.
