My EarthX Battery Experience

When I bought my plane it had a brand new Odyssey battery installed. It started good but I became intrigued with the EarthX battery. Well I dropped one in last week and what a difference. The engine spins to life with some major gusto. I have the standard (not hight torque) starter and it now starts like I actually have a high torque starter.
A definite item to add to your Christmas list.

It’s a great battery. After flying for an hour or so, my battery monitor (Dynon System) light begins to slowly blink. Manual says this is because it’s hot. I tried to insulate the battery with a thin insulation material which helped but didn’t eliminate the issue. Have any of you had this problem?
I have the 912iS with battery mount high on the right side of firewall.
