Checking to see what folks are gapping their NGK DCPR7E plugs on the 80 hp 912 ul.
Thanks a lot,
Mark Donahue

Thanks Ralph,
For some reason I was thinking that folks reduced that gap a bit for easier starting/running.
But I cant trust my memory anymore.
Take care,
Mark

I have a Zipper big bore on my 912UL. So it is a little different than stock. I am using DCPR8E plugs.

On Hal Stockman's advise, I gap at .022-.024". So, on the tight end or a little less than OEM spec. It has aided in cold starts and general idle quality.

I replace them annually regardless of hours so wear is not a factor.

Thanks, that was what I vaguely remembered.
Appreciate the info.
