Ack E-04 ELT wiring question

quick question... Wiring an Ack E-04 ELT into my GDU 460.

The G3X instructions show a signal ground wire going to the Ack. The Ack instructions show one of the four terminals going to aircraft ground. Is that the same wire? I have always taken anything labeled aircraft ground back to a single ground point on my firewall. Does that need to be done here?

Are you running GPS20A? The elt can also be hooked up to GPS20A to receive GPS position data from that. This was the closer/better option for me.
