New moderator joins TeamKitfox.com

I take pleasure in announcing “desertdave” as our newest TeamKitfox.com moderator.

Dave purchased a Model 6 in nose wheel configuration from one of our long time members last summer and joined our swelling ranks of happy Kitfox owners. Dave has since converted his 6, “Yellow Belle”, to a taildragger.
He lives in the Phoenix area and hangars at the airport where I keep my Kitfox. Through getting to know Dave I discovered he is captain for a major US carrier, runs a large brand specific forum for automobile enthusiasts, loves his Kitfox 6 and the Kitfox community.
I look forward to working with Dave and nurturing the continued growth of this great resource.

I’m also looking forward to many fun flights as soon as we can turn down this Arizona heat from 115 degrees to a more moderate 100 degrees or so.

Thank you Steve for such a nice introduction. I have been involved in aviation since 1981, flying both recreationally and for a living. With 24000+ hours in both fixed and rotary wing I still look forward to every flight and especially look forward to flying my Kitfox 6. A tough time in my life brought me to own my Kitfox and I am all about supporting and giving back to the Kitfox community. I look forward to meeting fellow TeamKitfox members in my travels and if you find yourself passing thru the Phoenix area, drop me a line. I live 4.9 miles north of KSDL. (I have to walk a block further north to fly my drone)
