I can't find anything very recent on the MGL iEFIS on the forum, does any one use one or know anything about them good or bad?

I installed an Explorer Lite in my new 7SS. It’s an 8:5” screen. The MGL is very readable in bright daylight. It is also a fast loading panel on start up. About 3-5 seconds and it’s up and running. It is completely customizable with a P.C. based program for changing and arranging your screens. I haven’t tried customizing screens yet as the default ones loaded at purchase do way more than I’ll ever need. I also have the MGL V6 comm radio which is controllable from the panel.

I’ve had great service from Matt in California. MGL just started a new relationship with a Michigan based avionics company for new sales. ***See the new press release just posted under Avionics section of the forums. In fact when you click on MGL’s advert at the top of every TeamKitfox.com forum page, it now directs you to the new sales company’s home page.

Thank you Steve, Glad to see one mounted and being used. I assume they have synthetic vision on them? Do you run auto pilot through yours?

It does have synthetic vision and lots of other features including auto pilot controller built in.
