STI with grove gear

Would anyone have any performance numbers with the STI wing using standard grove gear? I realize it sounds odd but I like the idea of a STOL performer not necessarily used for “bush” flying. I’m just curious which option has a bigger impact on cruise performance, the STI wing or the shock monster gear?
