Today I decided to sew up a control stick boot. I took out my mom’s old Singer Featherweight from the 50’s. It got me to think about the skills my mom and dad taught me. There are so many things that I am thankful for. I thought of two things from each that I am so glad they taught me. My mom taught me how to use a sewing machine and how to cook. And my dad taught me how to read a tape measure and how to weld. Thanks mom and dad. Feel free to post.

I named my plane after my late mother Belle. Ironically she hated flying but encouraged me to chase my dream of becoming an airline pilot.

My " N " number is a tribute to my Dad, who when I was a kid and we built models together would put my initials as model N numbers. I respected him with My Series 5 , N199CL for Carl Lina, miss ya Pops.
