View Full Version : Securing aluminum fuel lines

So the instructions state to secure the aluminum fuel lines to/from the header tank to the fuselage structure but it does not go into detail HOW to do that. In the builder's tips section, there is discussion on how to secure fuel lines with wire ties but that's not really possible when the structure has fabric attached to it. I don't think that I would want to epoxy these to the fuselage just in case I need to replace them someday. What is the best practice for securing these lines?

I'm sure not suggesting that this is the best way, let alone a good way but here is how I did mine.

Actually using adel clamps is the preferred way. Use ones with rubber, not just aluminum clamps.

I agree those look good. I did that way, along with some antichafe tape in a few places.
