Before I ask the question I want to thank everyone for all their help and information on this site - very friendly group!

On the fuel pump for the Rotax 912 - I'm having trouble getting information about the barbed fitting on the bottom - I assume its for fuel pressure readout, but if I chose to not put a pressure gage on the panel does anyone have any recommendations for terminating that line?

Thanks!

That is for a drain line, usually plastic tubing, and must NOT be closed off. Run the line to the back of the lower cowl; normally nothing comes out of it.

That is a vent. If the diaphragm in the pump fails, fuel will come out there. There used to be just a hole on older pumps. Keep in mind that if there is a diaphragm failure, you don't want the line terminating where fuel will contact a hot exhaust pipe.
