Winter Starting the IO-240B

I remember somebody asked about batteries for the IO-240B ... Well here's what it takes to
get it started in Chicagoland when the weather is cold, and you don't do an all night preheat ...
Have a heavy duty quick connect, and keep the Diehard on a battery maintainer in the hangar
for days like today.

No I don't fly with it, I take it out after the engine is warmed up.

Jeff, An earth X jump pack works just as good , fits in the palm of your hand , and you can take it with you, and no it hasn't blown up or started on fire yet . Bruce (the other IO-240 guy)

It's just not the same as lugging a big old Diehard out to the plane Bruce ...

I installed an EarthX battery up front. Now I don't need no stinking big battery up front in da vinter. No turning back . . . ;)
