Because this is the first project I've undertaken in which I'm committed to doing the painting my little ol self, I've taken each and every step carefully and with much trepidation - meaning: I'm really slow. But - I'm sure others are in the same boat or will soon be so I thought I'd capture the end of chapter one (the first color coat is on) with a very short update. First of all, so far I've really enjoyed using the Stewart System. I don't have but a very little experience with anything else (I watched as others sprayed my plane and car projects after I did the body work and most of the prep) so my comparison base isn't there except to say the strongest chemical to which I've been exposed is isopropyl alcohol and that is a huge benefit in my book.) So, today was the big day as one of the fuselage color coats went on. A couple of weeks ago the gear legs got their time in the sun, so to speak. All is well so far. Yep, lots of lessons learned and there are areas that clearly weren't done by a professional but as Frank said: "I did it my way!".

That looks like professional work to me. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you.
