Stein air also some videos on what tools to buy. I watched all the garmin videos and the stein air and wiring my g3x went smoothly.

I see they promote the pricey stuff when it comes to tools. I certainly spent far less. Glad I didn't require the versatility of that multi gauge crimper for the D sub pins.

Definitely cheaper crimpers and wire strippers get the job.

I went with Stein Air for the G3X system. Excellent tech support when I had a question.
