8 hours polishing my landing gear, I went to sears and bought all 5 grades of polishing compound and started. I used a 4 grinder with buffing wheel, I use 4 wheels to get here. Would suggest to start with a disc sander to get deep scratches out, but you will have to remove all sanding marks to avoid cracks. You may want to skip the disc sander
