Painting my Kitfox

I took my KF 5 it from our garage to the paint booth on Sept. 27, 2014. Three weeks later I have the fuselage and rudder finished. The elevator and stab are white and I need to do the red. To date 120 hours has been spent.
  1. Painting the red trim on the cowlings, doors, wing tips and tail panels.
  2. Cowling with red trim. The doors and wingtips are under the table too.
  3. Spinner
  4. Left wing is totally painted now in Aerothane.
  5. Flaps & cowling
  6. The painting is almost done. Here is my fuselage and wings. I just need to paint the red trim on the wings. (Nov.7)
  7. Elevator. Finished with red on Nov. 4.
  8. Horizontal stabilizer. Finished with red on Nov. 4.
  9. Right wing is painted with white.
  10. I got the plane on its landing gear and wheels on Oct. 22 with the help of one of my friends.

All taped and ready to paint with red. I used Poly Tone Pontiac red.
  15. Oct. 18.  
I did 2 cross coats of red on the fuselage and rudder. It took the 2 coats till it was satisfactorily covered.
