Just wondering if anyone has any info on whether or not the old fiberglass tanks will handle the new 12% Isobutanol being mixed in with gas. Apparently this is most likely going to be the replacement (still alcohol) for Ethanol. Where I live, for the longest time we have no E0 available. Now there are stations popping up with E0 but they contain 12% Isobutanol. The little bit of research I have done shows that it might actually be a good thing because it eliminates the issues with water, phase separation and corrosion issues. But....I can't find anything on what effects it has on fiberglass resins.
