How much less mph would one get out of the classic versus the V gear? My guess this is 1mph maybe? of course its more theoretical that the bigger structure would increase drag but wondering if there is an actual number behind it in terms of mph..

I have a friend went from a "spring" cabine gear to Grove and he gained more like 5 mph on his 80 hp Avid-Kitfox hybrid. (Avid fuselage, Kitfox wing)
What are the pros and cons of the two gear types?
Av8r3400 stated above that his friend gained 5mph by putting the grove gear on vs. the classic bush gear.
