After what might be the longest build time in Kitfox history, N263J made its first takeoff into the warm skies over Swaid’s Field in Springfield, GA Friday morning, 6/29/18. The plane performed well, flying hands off its first time up and landing halfway down the 4000 ft grass runway.
Anxiety lives on the ground, once you’re up, the nervousness slips away. It comes right back for that first landing.
Thanks go out to Paul at Stick & Rudder Aviation for getting me ready to fly, and to all the great people who’ve helped me through the years.
