    Default radiator Model 2

    Have kitfox II on hot days water temps near upper limit Has anyone used the aluminum radiator to lower temps

    Gary, the aluminum should do a better job of cooling for you overall.

    On my Kitfox one, 582 engine, temps were a bit high as well. Lowered radiator about 1". That lowered temps at least 15 degrees. Then I checked the gauge and found it was reading 20 degrees high. Could have left things alone if I had known. These are the same radiator cooling 100 or more HP Rotaxes. JImChuk

    Also you could change the mixture, I fly with 70 (water):30 mixture.....
