    It appears that it is annealed. Is that what I want?

    There is a big difference in strength between the ā€œAā€ and the ā€œNā€ conditions. You can bring the annealed to a normalized state by heat treating & quenching. I am not sure what Kitfox specifies & uses for these pieces. Condition N is the standard for most 4130 used on aircraft.

    Called John at kitfox and they are made out of condition "N"
