Default Stabilizer trim jack-screw and motor.

One of the things that I didn't get with the series 5 kit I purchased is the electric jack-screw. Does anyone know of a suitable substitute I could research? Or, if you know whether the current series has the same type of trim system as the 5 ?

I think they are the same. It's best to call the factory, Deb McBean will have the answer for you.

I would keep looking in the build manual. They have the complete manual online.

    Jim,

You’re a 45 minute Flight from Homedale. Run down and chat with John.

If you are going to put in a digital panel you have the option of having trim indication on your screen. I just upgraded mine to show elevator trim. The Kitfox factory sells a kit for this, which has a potentiometer and mounting bracket and was very easy to install. Mine is very accurate, where as the cable feed back that came with the plane lags when you reverse directions.
