Does anybody know if Airdale Sportplane is still in business. No answer on the phone, no E-mail return. I'm interested in a set of Skis.
Thanks John

Brett is not good at communicating through his business and is suffering because of it. Sad.
I live just 20 miles from him and the only way I have to contact him is to drive over there and hope he's there. To which I have almost zero reason now.
I'm sorry but I can no longer endorse working with him due to his lack of communication.
I got skis from him. Ordered them about Nov 1 last year. Have to agree with the above post. Promised about 4 week delivery turned into 4 months with very poor communication. Quality is good but service is poor. After I ordered them had a friend warn me about that. He has a good product and I wish he could do better communicating.
I bought a set of skis from http://www.summitaircraft.com. Great communication and great product. At least from my experience.

RV-4 built and sold :-(
RV-10 built and flying
KitFox SS7 built and flying and now on amphib floats!
Summit skis are nice skis. If I didn't already have a set of Datum retractables, I would be considering the Summit.
Having said that, have you thought of just getting an older pair of Federals and making them fit? The can be picked up for a fair price, generally around $500.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll just find another option.
Thanks John
There's a Wisconsin based aircraft ski business for sale. The name is not disclosed but how many aircraft ski companies can there be in WI?
It might explain the lack of response.
