    Default cross border flights

sorry for bad memory. I recall someone wanting to fly to Alaska and some discussion as to whether it was legal or not. A Canadian pilot and US aircraft etc. This may be of some help. I found it as I research a flight into US with my Kitfox.

    US Light Sport Aircraft (LSA)
US-registered LSA’s can be operated in Canada by US pilots holding at least Private Pilot Certificate. A validation form http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviatio...ance-regsdocs- standardised_validation-2946.htm must be downloaded and carried on the aircraft at all times.
There are a few ways to register and fly a LSA in Canada but there are restrictions. A complete explanation is available at http://www.copanational.org/CAWMay10-1En.cfm.

The whole book can be downloaded from COPA or AOPA website. It is to big to attach to this form.
