I like it. Looks nice and the performance looks good. The other thing, your airport looks like California in the summer. Dry grass with many trees.

These videos was made from my home base "small" airfield : Bordeaux-Leognan, LFCS, 10 nm south of Bordeaux city.

Nice wine country, with the Atlantic ocean very close, 20 nm,

    the bassin d'Arcachon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPsCM-bSPcg )

with the pyla sand dune (highest in Europe 360 ft : http://www.dune-pyla.com/en/ )

pyrennées mountain for mountain bike and ski (90 nm) and mountain landing.

Good food, good wine, sun in summer, rain in winter (good for the wine), in fact, a nice place to be!

My next work on my fox is a new prop that I found with only 10 H TTSN. An electric IFA woodcomp SR2000XA with a smart avionics constant speed controler. Best choice for take off, climb and also cruise. I will do that this winter when the rain come. The prop is now at the factory for an overhaul. Only 10 hours but made in 2001 and well stored in a dry place since that as it was just for a test. After that the prop was forgoten....

    Some infos :

    ZFW : 715 lbs
Max Toff 1200 (Kitfox 5 vixen short wings),
year of construction 1991 with a Rotax 912 80 hp, now with a 100 hp

    FPM at 1200 lbs : 900 to 1200 at 50 kts
Cruise at 5000 rpm : 87 kts (4.1 us gallons)
    Cruise at 5500 : 109 kts (5.1 us gallons)

of course all that depends on T°, altitude, etc...

Now with CRT (cathode ray tube) from MGL, before she was wit BRT (Big round things), 2 batteries, 1 main, 1 stby, Hackman carb mixture, electric carb heat and no cabin heater (will do that this winter with the prop...looking for ideas!)

left seat with a big cushion for my kid!

some details on what is on the panel (not real indacations, but I will add decals shortly)

    Good looking plane, congratulations!

I see you have a split instrument panel. Now that is done, doing it that way, added work, saved work, makes maintenance simpler, the same?

    Roberto.

PS: I just noticed the battery charging connector on the right. I'm going to copy that!

I used a split instrument panel just for maintenance.

Internals battery charging and external power connectors (to start the engine or for instruments, systems or radios maintenance) avoid to open the coolings and/or be close to the prop.
