Default Low Oil Temperature after decent and Burning Smell with Rotax 912uls

I had Burning smell in cockpit after quick throttle-idle descent in Kitfox 5 with 912uls. This was after flying for 2 hours. The Oil Temp dropped to 116 and then smelled burning oil for a minuet. I currently do have the oil cooler partially blocked to deal with the engine getting too cold. Once I got the oil temp back up over 120 the burning smell was gone. Any ideas what happened here?

What temp is it running at cruise? Those are very low oil temps.

190-200 during maneuvers at 7,500. This happened after a turning decent to 4,000.
