Default Kitfox IV Speedster Long Wing

I have the Kitfox Owner's Manual which has the airspeed limitations for the Kitfox IV and Kitfox IV Speedster. My Kitfox IV is a Speedster but has the long wings (32 ft.).

Would the Speedster limitations still be valid?

I have a model 4 longwing speedster. My builders manual gives it a 140mph vne. I doubt wingspan makes any difference. I've never come close to vne anyway. I've flown 2 other model 4 speedsters with the short wing. I really couldn't feel any real difference between my long wing and the short wing.

I believe a "Speedster" is basically a standard long wing model with shorter wings, plus the speedster tail options (which most folks put on the standard model). If I am correct in this, then you really don't have a "Speedster" and I would abide by all the limitations given for the standard model.
