Hello, this is my very first post/question for this forum. I bought tail # 627c and plan to install a D-MOTOR.
A motor mount for a jabiru 2200 will work for this engine. My question is, does anyone have a used motor mount
or knows where to buy one? The D-MOTOR dealer tells me he can build one for me. This is for a model 2.

Can't help on the motor mount, but it will be interesting to see how the D motor performs once it's up and running. JImChuk

It will be a few months before it's all done. Engine will arrive in Dec. this year. Working on my Sport Pilot Training. It will be in Idaho in march of next year.
Will slowly keep all of you informed.

Are you getting the 26 or the 39?
With the narrow width of the design - they should fit just about anything!

If you do get them to make the engine mount make sure you have the correct drawings. There are two different jabiru engine mount drawings floating around.. I have cnc cut tubes for one of them which places the engine farther away from the firewall If you are interested.. You probably want the closer version as I do though.

Thank you for the reply. Is there a web site where one can buy both drawings? I would like to wait till I have engine on hand to decide
which one I will need...thx, will probably have mount made locally here in Conroe, Texas or by Auto P.S.R.U. in Hillsboro, Texas.
