    Hey Dave

is it Eddie Maddon's Eurofox at Tocumwal?

We might be heading over that way later this week on a 9 detoured) route to Narromine - via Mungo Lake.

Hi Ross, no it belongs to Craig Hammond, cfi at Lilydale Flying School. It's a nice looking aircraft and a quality build, put together by Tony Brand and co at Horsham Aviation. .... Having said that, I decided on the Kitfox because (a) I want a build project with good OEM support and (b) I think it's a more capable aircraft with proven ancestry.

Also, a question for Steve and anyone else on the site; has anyone installed the GS-Air LED Nav light system with strobes on the wing tips ? Would be interested in feedback regarding quality and ease of installation, not that difficulty scares me.

I'm now down to Nav lights, having finally decided on MGL EFIS, EMS and Comms .... Yes Ross, I dropped the retro idea of analogue .... Thanks for asking the question ....

As I'm semi- retired and therefore running out of productive years, I plan on putting as many hours as I can in each week to try and expedite the build time. I'm trying to make sure I get the kit content as complete as possible. Don't want to be constantly going back to John and Debra, both of whom have been very patient with me. Almost there.

    Hi Dave

I am a bit concerned we don't hijack Steve's build thread here - I suggest you establish a separate thread for your build - perhaps Dave's S7 Oz Build - or something like that? Meanwhile I will look up the lights I installed - both wingtip Nav/Strobe and Landing/wig wag - both very good and easy to install.

    cheers

Agree. I'll move over to your Oz builders thread for any more such posts before I get a kit unless I have input.

    Thank you Sir.
Between the MGL, the Garmin and the iPad with Foreflight I figure my odds of getting lost on the way to the factory fly-in are, well , ya still about 50/50.
Ya have to know how to run all this stuff too?

Yeah Steve I was thinking this panel is pretty fancy for you!
Looks good! Can't wait to see it in person, at a fly-in out west somewhere in a year or 2...

Gotcha. So here's the deal: Step 1, Fly North to the really big lake. Step 2, Continue flying north the the big river in the lava canyon, turn left and follow river in the lava canyon to Kitfox factory. Step 3, Land and show off new panel.
