Default STS model AV7600VOR

Does anyone know where I can find a headset to handheld adapter for this STS AV7600VOR transceiver? It was in the airplane I recently purchased and appears to work fine, however I want to use it through my headset. Thanks

you'd have to know if it is a standard 1/8" male plug or not ..if it is a standard .,, I got one that you can have .
I'm guessing it's standard,.. just need an address and I'll mail it to you

just checked ,..it's not an 1/8" plug per owners manual

Thanks for trying Chase, I've scoured the internet trying to find this adapter, looks like flying with vintage parts is going to be difficult.

Gary ,.have you thought of making one? I'd take the radio to radio shack ,..ask to see a couple cheap CB micro phones ..the plug in jacks are very similar ,..find one that fit ,..cut the microphone off and make your own ends to allow for the headset ,..you can get the head phone female plugs there too ,..a push to talk is just an interupt button ,..if you've got one good ,..if you don't ,..let me know ,..I'll hook you up

Thanks again Chase, I put a concerted effort into this today and finally got it solved. I don't know if it will work or not. I heard aircraft talking to Memphis Center, but I couldn't get anyone to respond to my transmissions, but I do live out in the boonies.
