    Badger, that was a really nice writeup.

    I found it especially interesting because you own an RV 8, which is for sure one heck of a great airplane, especially for those desiring high speed travel. But if you added a Kitfox to your stable you would add a lot of versatility as the Kitfox makes a great back country booney basher, a great ski plane, a great floatplane, etc, etc. And it makes for a really great STOL machine that will allow you to go to pretty much any airport or grass strip in the world. Yet it is still an airplane you can comfortably go places in if you desire that. It really is an airplane that will do pretty much anything.

    So having an RV 8 along with a Kitfox is likely to make most any pilot jealous... as between those two airplanes you'd have most every really fun area of aviation covered.

    The possibility of floats definitely adds the attraction, and as you say the Kitfox in combination with an RV-8 would be very nice indeed!
